New Dublin is still A Magical Place in 2021!
The Shamrock Club of New Dublin is happy to announce we WILL be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day 2021 with a few modifications due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Unfortunately we are unable to hold our Grand Parade, Irish Fest or Ceili this year.
We WILL be:
Painting Shamrocks
Having Leprechaun Day and change the name of our town
Promoting Houligan Day for the restaurants and pubs and other businesses around New Dublin
Celebrating our dignitaries that were named last year in a special way. with our Irish Entertainment and Dignitary Appreciation Night on March 19 at 7:00 pm at Crystal Falls in Niagara Hall. Talented artists from the New Dublin area present a moving evening of Irish entertainment on stage that features songs, dances, and the humor of Ireland. We will be introducing and recognizing our 2020-21 Irish Man & Irish Rose, Bob & Terri Murphy and Grand Marshall, Dorothy Neilson and the Irish Lad, Jake Flocker & Lassie, Jasmine Villalobos. We will also recognize our recent Shamrock Club Scholarship recipients. It’s great family entertainment. Free admission, donations appreciated. **Seating will be arranged to allow for social distancing and masks will be required per State and Local mandates.**
We are still working out the logistics of Irish Caroling but it will be on March 17th if we can work it out safely following the current pandemic restrictions.
You can view our updated Schedule of Events with dates at the link on the top of the page of our website.
We wish to thank everyone in our community for their support in the past and present and we are hoping that 2022 we can be back to our usual week-long celebration.
Slainte to you all and New Dublin ‘Tis a Magical Place
